Donggala Police Fired 3 Police Officers Involved in Drug Cases to Desertions

JAKARTA - The Donggala Police, Central Sulawesi, fired three of its members in a ceremony of Dismissal Without Honor (PTDH).

"This PTDH is a final decision that has gone through a long process. Including a trial and mature consideration," said Wakapolres Donggala, Kompol Sulardi, at the PTDH ceremony in the courtyard of the Donggala Police, Monday, February 23, reported by ANTARA.

Three members of the Donggala Police were proven to have violated the discipline and code of ethics of the National Police. They are Brigpol A, Brigpol J, and Briptu I.

Sulardi emphasized that the three personnel were declared no longer eligible to hold the status as members of the National Police.

He emphasized that this firm step is the institution's commitment to upholding discipline and maintaining the dignity of the National Police in the community.

"Enforcement of discipline and the code of ethics is absolute. There is no tolerance for customers, no matter how small, because it concerns public confidence in the Polri institution," he said.

He reminded, that this should be a reminder for all parties, to always maintain trust and integrity in serving the nation and state.

It is known that throughout 2025, the Sulteng Police took firm action against personnel who committed serious violations that could no longer be trained, namely 34 members who received PTDH.

The main reason is a serious violation of the code of ethics, including drug cases, desertions (abandonment of duty), and other criminal acts. The most prominent case in February 2025, as many as 7 members of the Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Sulteng were fired in connection with the violence case that led to the death of a prisoner in Palu.
