He said that the houses affected by flash floods in Pakis Village, Panti District, were 30 houses with a mud height of about 20 centimeters (cm) and some of the residents' houses, the kitchen collapsed due to flash floods.

"Dozens of residents had to evacuate in one of Mr. Her's houses in Pakis Village, and the family of the victim who was swept away by the flash flood also evacuated at his brother's house," he said.

Heavy flooding also hit Tembelang Village in Pecoro Village, Rambipuji District, which caused two houses to be submerged in muddy floodwaters with a height of about 40 cm and bamboo poles collapsed across the river.

"Today, a joint effort is being carried out to clean the residents' houses and the access roads that are submerged in mud so that they can be passed by the community, and BPBD Jember asks the Social Service to provide assistance and open a public kitchen, and the Health Office to provide health services for residents affected by flash floods," he said.
