"Our objective is to increase the interest of Jember people towards aerospace in hope that Notohadinegoro Airport can be more alive and become the center of aerospace," said the Head of the Indonesian Air Force's Center for Aerospace Potential (Puspotdirga) First Marshal (Marsma) Fajar Adriyanto.

The activity in collaboration with the Indonesian Aero Sport Federation (FASI) and the Garuda Terbang Team will introduce the interesting potential of Notogadinegoro Airport through aircraft acrobatic spectacles.

"Besides that, this Garuda Terbang activity is in the term of commemorating the 67th Years of Pancasila and implementing values of Pancasila in society," he said.

According to him, these activities will continue to be carried out by observing health protocols and it is hoped that flight training in Jember can improve aerospace athletes' achievements because there are several interesting aerospace spots, such as paragliding, hang gliding, and aeromodelling spot.
