The Number Of COVID-19 Patients At The Wisma Atlet Hospital Continues To Increase, Now 2.015 People Are Undergoing Treatment

JAKARTA - Positive COVID-19 patients who received treatment at the Emergency Hospital (RSD) Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta increased by 88 people. Thus, the number of patients treated at this hospital reached 2.013 people as of Sunday, May 30.

Head of Information for Joint Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I), Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, said thousands of these patients were being treated at Tower 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Atlet Hospital Kemayoran.

"Inpatients who were confirmed positive consisted of 984 men and 1.029 women. There was an addition of 88 patients from the original number of 1.925 patients", said Aris in a written statement, Sunday, May 30.

Meanwhile, as a whole, since operating on March 23, 2020, the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Kemayoran has treated 85.628 patients. Of these, as many as 83.615 patients have been discharged from the Wisma Atlet Hospital.

With details, as many as 82.652 patients recovered, 875 patients were referred to other hospitals, while 88 patients died.

Meanwhile, the Wisma Atlet Pademangan Hospital is currently treating 4.325 repatriated people or Indonesian migrant workers. "There was an addition of 402 patients from the original 3.923 patients", said Aris.

Then the Special Infection Hospital (RSKI) Galang Island, Riau Islands, is currently treating as many as 90 positive COVID-19 patients. This figure is reduced by 6 patients from the previous day.

Since being operated on April 12, 2020, this hospital has been visited by 13.788 patients. Of these, 13.698 patients have gone home with details because 6.359 patients have recovered; 42 patients were referred to other hospitals; and 7.297 suspected patients who finished treatment.

Previously, the Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 105.946 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 6.565 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 1.809.926 people and active cases of 99.690 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, May 29.

Today's recovered cases increased by 5.417 cases so that a total of 1.659.974 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 162 people and the total was 50.262 people.
