Three Senior Officials of the Kaltara Police Officially Changed

TANJUNG SELOR - North Kalimantan Police Chief (Kaltara) Irjen Djati Wiyoto Abadhy led the handover of the Director of Narcotics Investigation and Head of Public Relations (Kabid) of the Kaltara Police and appointed the position of Karolog.

The Directorate of Narcotics and Narcotics of the Kaltara Police, which was previously held by Kombes Ronny Tri Prasetyo N., was handed over to Kombes Hamid Andri Soemantri, former Wadireskrimum of the Lampung Police. Ronny Tri Prasetyo then took on the task of Policy Director of the National Police Deputy TK II Sahli Kapolri.

In the Public Relations Department, Kombes Budi Rachmat officially ended his term at the Kaltara Police after almost eight years of service. He is now serving as the Head of Public Relations at the Central Kalimantan Police.

The position of the Head of Public Relations of the Kaltara Police was then taken over by Kombes Slamet Wahyudi who previously served as the Head of Public Relations of the West Sulawesi Police.

Meanwhile, the position of Karolog of the Kaltara Police was entrusted to Kombes Herman Priyanto who previously served as Kabagbekum Rolog of the East Java Police.

The Head of the Kaltara Police, Irjen Djati Wiyoto Abadhy, emphasized that this rotation was part of the refreshment of the organization and strengthening of strategic functions in the Kaltara Police environment.

"The replacement of officials, especially in the Kaltara Police, is a routine mechanism for the National Police to maintain continuity of performance and increase the effectiveness of task implementation," said Inspector General Djati, Monday, January 12.

"This rotation is expected to strengthen the operational performance, law enforcement, and public communication of the Kaltara Regional Police in the midst of the dynamics of border kamtibmas," he continued.

Meanwhile, Kombes Budi Rachmat revealed that his eight years of service at the Kaltara Police was a blessing and gave him important experience in building a public relations system.

"The change in the Public Relations Department marks the baton of public communication leadership in the Kaltara Police. In addition, organizing public relations in a new area requires a process and consistency," he said.

The new head of public relations of the Kaltara Police, Kombes Slamet Wahyudi, also ensured that there would be no fundamental changes. The focus is on strengthening the programs that have been running and maintaining working relations with the media.

"What has been going well will be continued and improved," said Slamet.
