DKI PPDB Pre-registration Is Opened, Here's How

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government has opened a pre-registration for admission of new students (PPBD) for the 2021 school year from May 24 to June 4 for SMP, SMK and SMK levels.

Jakarta Education Agency Public Relations Officer Taga Radja Gah explained that the pre-registration period was opened specifically for students who had a Jakarta family card (KK) but had studied outside the region, and wanted to continue their studies in the capital.

"This is especially for children who go to school outside Jakarta such as Islamic boarding schools or schools in other cities, but they are from Jakarta," Taga said when contacted, Thursday, May 27.

According to Taga, pre-registration is required for the Education Office to input student identity data so that it is recorded in the system before the PPDB period opens on June 7.

"Pan needs data entry, data needs to be inputted, because previously there was no data. For example, I have school children in Bekasi, the scores are not in the student report card score list system (DKI)," said Taga.

"This means that those who have not been registered must register first, upload their scores first, then they can participate in the selection," he continued.

There are also students who pre-register that they can only take part in PPDB through zoning and achievement channels. Meanwhile, students who register through the affirmation channel are children registered in the DTKS, children of Jakarta Worker Card holders, children of TransJakarta partner drivers, and children who change the duties of parents and teachers' children.

The pre-registration procedure is as follows:

2. Register on the registration menu

3. Fill out forms online

4. Print proof of pre-registration verification results

5. Log into the Sidanira system by accessing the https://sidanira.jakarta.go.id/prapend Registration/login page

6. Upload scanned or photo originals

7. Monitor the results of verification of uploaded documents

8. Print proof of submission of pre-registration
