MATARAM - A team of auditors from the West Nusa Tenggara Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) examined the former Regent of East Lombok, M. Ali Bin Dachlan at the NTB Prosecutor's Office building regarding the alleged corruption case of the purchase of 70 hectares of land in the Samota area by the Sumbawa Regency Government for the construction of the Motocross Grand Prix (MXGP) Circuit.

"Yes, that's right. Mr. Ali was examined today by the auditor," said NTB Attorney General's Special Criminal Assistant Muh. Zulkifli Said in Mataram, Monday, December 15, reported by ANTARA.

He explained that the examination of Ali Bin Dachlan in his capacity as a seller of land to the Sumbawa Regency Government was a series of auditors calculating state financial losses.

"So, (the examination) today is a continuation of yesterday's in Sumbawa," he said.

On Tuesday (9/12), the Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Wahyudi, revealed that he had deployed a team to Sumbawa Regency to accompany the BPKP auditor to calculate state financial losses.

The NTB Kajati emphasized that this investigation continues to lead to the search for parties who will be responsible for the loss of state finances.

"So, it's in the process. I don't rule out anyone who is involved there. We take action according to the existing process," he said.

Previously, the prosecutor's investigators held a trial with the NTB BPKP Representative to see the potential losses.

He admitted that the title of the case with the state-owned auditor was part of a series of calculations. After seeing the potential losses, the next step will continue with the appointment of an audit team that will be tasked with calculating the losses.

Ali Bin Dachlan who was met at the NTB Prosecutor's Office after giving information to the auditor at around 13.30 Wita, confirmed that he had given information to the BPKP auditor.

Ali Bin Dachlan explained that he gave information to the auditor regarding the process of buying and selling his land with the Sumbawa Regency Government.

"So, that's not what was asked (land procurement). The name is BPKP, right, auditing," said Ali, accompanied by his lawyer, Basri Mulyani.

He said he received payment for his land of 70 hectares which also represented his son's name of Rp. 52 billion.

"I accept (the payment) according to the price, Rp52 billion," he said.

He also admitted that he had 140 hectares of land in the Samota area. So, for 70 hectares, it is only a portion of his property that was purchased by the Sumbawa Regency Government.

"So, Rp52 billion is cheap, it should be a hundred. It is paid per hectare, not per are, and the price per hectare is various, some are three hundred, some are four hundred," he said.

Regarding legal issues in the context of land sales in the Samota area, which is an acronym for the names of three tourist areas in Sumbawa, namely Teluk Saleh, Moyo Island, and Mount Tambora, according to him, there is none.

"No, there is no criminal problem. Everything (money) is deposited and deposited by the regency," said Ali.

Regarding the emergence of allegations of price inflation or mark-up of the purchase value of IDR 48 billion, Ali admitted that he did not know.

"I don't know about that (mark-up). What is clear is that I used to transact with the government, with the regent. The regent's signature," he said.
