There Are 87 Victims Of Wedding Organizer Fraud In Jakarta

The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) is still investigating a woman with the initials AP, the owner of the wedding organizer (WO) on suspicion of fraud in a number of areas in Jakarta.

"We are also investigating the perpetrators. We are currently investigating," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar when confirmed, Monday, December 8, 2025.

Meanwhile, regarding a number of people suspected of being victims of WO mode fraud by the perpetrator with the initials AP, they have also visited the North Jakarta Metro Police since Sunday night, December 7.

"There were 87 reporters who came. There were 87 victims," he said.

Currently, the North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim has received 87 LP (police reports) related to this alleged fraud.

"The case is about fraud/embezzlement from a Wedding Organizer against several consumers," he said.

Previously, a woman with the initials AP was suspected of committing fraud using the wedding organizer (WO) mode against a number of victims in the Jakarta area. The incident went viral on social media on Sunday, December 7, evening.

It was later discovered that the WO company was located on Jalan H Siun, Ceger, Cipayung, East Jakarta. Meanwhile, the owner of WO with the initials AP was arrested by a number of victims.

Then a number of people suspected of being victims of fraud by AP also visited the North Jakarta Police Headquarters on Sunday, December 7, evening.

Their arrival was the aftermath of the arrest of the reported party with the initials AP, the owner of WO, who was suspected of having committed a number of fraudulent acts in Jakarta. The victims have made a report to the North Jakarta Metro Police.
