JAKARTA - The Tanjung Priok District Satpol PP has curbed street vendors (PKL) and buskers in the Lake Sunter area, North Jakarta.

At the target location, several street vendors who sell while carrying active speakers for karaoke until late at night, disturb the surrounding community.

"There are 5 street vendors who were caught carrying active speakers but the music has not been turned on yet, we give an appeal," said Head of the Tanjung Priok District Police Unit, Mardanih, who was wrongly confirmed, Monday, December 1.

Those who were given the warning, said Mardanih, were street vendors who carried active speakers, due to public complaints about noise.

"Tonight there were no findings that violated. Everything is still at a reasonable limit. Street vendors who carry active speakers only exist but do not print (turn) music," he said.

The locations targeted for the raid were Lake Sunter Selatan, Jalan Danau Sunter Jaya 1 and Jalan Danau Permai.

"The results of the activity that were caught carrying active speakers were 5 street vendors. We gave them an appeal," he said.

The control was carried out again along Jalan Danau Sunter Barat, Sunter Agung Village, Tanjung Priok District.
