Toyota Innova with the number D 1882 ADX crashed into a bajaj unit with plate number B 4106 TZE after allegedly experiencing a tire burst on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro confirmed the accident. The incident occurred on Thursday, November 27.

"The accident caused by the Innova vehicle suffered a burst left tire so that the driver lost control and hit a parked bajaj. There were no casualties or injuries," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Friday, November 28.

Kombes Susatyo said the incident began when the Toyota Innova driven by MNA (24) drove from south to north.

Arriving in front of the PT Gudang Garam building, the left tire of the vehicle broke so that the car swerved to the left and hit a bajaj which was parked on the shoulder of the road.

"The driver of this Bajaj, S (63), was not in his vehicle when the accident occurred. The damage to the vehicle was quite severe, but did not cause any injuries or death," he said.

The Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit Team has visited the crime scene, processed the scene, secured evidence, and asked for information from the driver.

"We are also still looking for additional witnesses to confirm the entire chronology of the accident," he said.

Head of Traffic at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Arry Setyo Utomo, added that vehicle damage was quite significant.

"Innova suffered damage to the left bumper, phoglamp, front lights, spakbor, and broken tires. Meanwhile, Bajaj suffered damage to the rear and side bodies and windshields," he said.

This accident was recorded by residents and circulated on Instagram social media. The police appealed to motorists to always check the condition of the vehicle before traveling, especially the pressure and condition of the tires, to avoid similar incidents.
