People Exposed To COVID-19 In Cilangkap Increased To 104 People

JAKARTA - Cases of residents exposed to COVID-19 in RT03/03 Cilangkap Village based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test results increased to 104 people.

"For the latest update confirmed a total of 104," said Rw 03 Chairman Rosadi in Cilangkap, Jakarta, as quoted by Antara, Monday, May 24.

Rosadi detailed that as many as 20 of its citizens were referred to referral hospitals for treatment. While 67 other residents were treated at Wisma Atlet, and 17 others did self-isolation at home.

Rosadi said the case of the COVID-19 cluster in Cilangkap originated from the Eid al-Fitr meeting of a number of its citizens. In fact, according to him, there are not many people in his area who do Eid al-Fitr homecoming.

"This I suspect the family cluster because I investigated it turned out that this citizen after Eid al-Fitr held a meeting to eat ketupat together," said Rosadi.

Rosadi added that later from the incident found one of the residents who complained about his health condition. When the PCR test was conducted, it was known that the person was positive for COVID-19.

"There was one of the residents who was exposed, he was sick so ask for help then we check it turns out he is positive. Then we develop all, yes, there are many tested positive for COVID," explained Rosadi.
