Police Investigate Case Of Women's Rape Security In Denpasar

DENPASAR - Denpasar Police, Bali, investigated reports of alleged rape crimes that went viral on social media. The perpetrator is suspected of being a security guard.

The incident occurred on Thursday, October 31, at around 01.00 WITA at the cafe on Jalan Gunung Soputan, West Denpasar District, Denpasar City, Bali.

Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police, Kompol I Ketut Sukadi said the victim, a woman with the initials KS (28), officially reported the incident to the Denpasar Police Integrated Service Center (SPKT) on Tuesday (18/11).

From the report, the Denpasar Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Sat Reskrim) immediately carried out a series of investigation steps.

"Among them are examinations of victims, examination of witnesses related to cases, and checking at the crime scene (TKP)," said Kompol Sukadi, Thursday, November 27.

In addition, the victim has also undergone a medical examination in the form of Visum et Repertum (VER) at Bhayangkara Hospital, Denpasar.

"Currently the case is still under investigation. Investigators have examined witnesses, conducted crime scenes, and completed the investigation administration including the results of the post-mortem," he said.

The victim is known to be a worker in a cafe in the Denpasar area and is suspected of being a victim of rape by the alleged perpetrator J.

"The victim (allegedly) was raped by the reported party (suspected perpetrator) which resulted in the victim being shocked and afraid of the threat of being reported," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police, Kompol I Ketut Sukadi, on Wednesday.

After carrying out the action, the alleged perpetrator threatened the victim not to report this incident.

The victim only dared to make a report 18 days later, on Tuesday (18/11).
