JAKARTA - The police involved sniffer dogs to search the jaw part of the missing child's body named Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6) at the Cilalay Bridge, Tenjo, Bogor Regency.

"Another sweep with sniffer dogs," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Wednesday, November 26.

He said the search was carried out to find parts of the skeleton of the kidnapping and murder victims.

"Looking for the victim's jaw," said Nicolas.

Based on the information gathered, the search started at around 11.00 WIB.

Previously, Alvaro's body was known to have been dumped into the Cerewed River under the bridge, after the boy was reported missing for eight months.

The perpetrator of the kidnapping and murder of Alvaro is his stepfather and Arum's ex-husband, Alex Iskandar (49).

Police stated that Alex was found dead due to suicide in the South Jakarta Metro Police counseling room last Sunday.

According to police statement, Alex was found hanging himself shortly after he was arrested and detained by the police.

Police found Alvaro who had been missing since March 2025 at Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, who was in a state of death and arrested Alex on Wednesday night.

The police also revealed the motive for the murder of Alvaro, namely because his stepfather was jealous of his wife.
