JAKARTA - Train children aka anker, must see this important information. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operational Area 1 Jakarta will close access to / enter the southern door of Bekasi Station starting November 28, 2025 as part of efforts to organize and curb traffic flow around the station.

"Starting November 28, 2025, the access gate for Bekasi Station through Jalan Ir H Juanda is officially closed. The engineering trial for closing and diverting access will begin at 00.01 WIB," said Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Operational Area (Daop) 1 Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, Thursday, November 20.

Ixfan said that during the closure, passenger entry and exit access as well as motorbike parking areas were completely diverted to Jalan Raya Perjuangan (Bekasi Station Main Door) and Pusdiklat Street.

The decision to close the south door of Bekasi Station is a follow-up to the evaluation of traffic conditions on Jalan Juanda which often experience congestion, especially during busy hours.

The congestion was triggered by the large number of vehicles stopping on the southern side of the Bekasi Station, so traffic engineering and rearranging of station access for security, order and smooth mobility of the community are needed.

Ixfan reminded all train passengers and road users who cross from Juanda to Perjuangan/Pusdiklat to always comply with safety rules, especially when passing a level crossing.

"Stop, look left and right, make sure there are no trains passing by, don't break through the crossing gate in any condition and prioritize safety and obey the instructions of officers in the field," said Ixfan.

He said compliance with road users was needed to prevent accidents at level crossings.
