Prosecutor's Office Investigate Reports Of Council Members In Bima Involved In Liquid Asphalt Project

NTB - The Bima District Attorney (Kejari) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) received a report that one of the board members with the initials AS was involved in the liquid asphalt project game.

Head of the Intelligence Section of the Bima Kejari, Virdis Firmanillah Putra, confirmed that there were reports from the public who were still waiting for the position from the Head of the Bima Kejari.

"Yes, we are still waiting for the leadership position (Head of the Bima Kejari)," he said by telephone, Tuesday, as reported by Antara.

He explained that the position of the Head of the Bima Kejari would be the basis for the prosecutor to follow up on reports to the review stage.

By explaining that the position of the report material is still waiting for the leadership's position, Virdis admitted that he could not explain further about the prosecutor's legal steps.

Apart from the prosecutor's side, the Bima City Police were also recorded to have received a report. The police have already taken steps to investigate by scheduling a request for clarification and collection of related documents.

The allegation that emerged in this case was regarding the existence of liquid asphalt without official management. It is suspected that after residents found the presence of the liquid asphalt on the side of the road that entered Penatoi Village, Bima City.

Liquid asphalt is found in dozens of drums without a company label or someone's ownership.

The existence of dozens of drums containing liquid asphalt also raised public suspicions because no road work projects around the location were found.

The name of a member of the Bima City DPRD with the initials AS then appeared as a reported person based on reports that came from the public.
