113th Anniversary, Puan Encourages Muhammadiyah To Continue To Be Valid For The Ummah

JAKARTA - The Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, congratulated Muhammadiyah the 113th Anniversary and emphasized the great role of the organization in the nation's development. The remarks were conveyed by Puan on Tuesday, November 18

Puan said Muhammadiyah had been an important part of Indonesia's journey since the establishment of KH Ahmad Dahlan on November 18, 1912 in Yogyakarta.

"Muhammadiyah has colored the history of the nation's journey with practices in the fields of education, health, and social affairs," he said.

According to Puan, Muhammadiyah's contribution feels real through work in the vital sector, including encouraging progress in thinking through education. He stated that the Indonesian people should be grateful to have the organization that continues to move and serve.

"The Indonesian nation is grateful to have Muhammadiyah relations that never tire of moving for the progress and welfare of the nation," said Puan.

Puan hopes that Muhammadiyah will continue to maintain consistency in serving the people and advancing the community. "Continue to be solemn to advance the nation and serve people throughout Indonesia," he said.

The peak of the 113th anniversary of Muhammadiyah's Milad was held at Muhammadiyah University in Bandung with the theme "Promoting the Welfare of the Nation".
