JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto launched the 2025 Learning Digitization Program which marks the distribution of smartboard devices or interactive flat panels (IFP) to schools throughout Indonesia.

The launch event was held at SMPN 4 Bekasi City, West Java, Monday, as a form of accelerating the transformation of national education.

"What we have just witnessed, this is our program as our effort to accelerate the transformation of our national education," Prabowo said in front of thousands of participants consisting of students, teachers, and education stakeholders, confiscated by Antara.

In his remarks, President Prabowo emphasized that this launch was an important part of the government's efforts to bring a more advanced and relevant education system to the times.

The Learning Digitization Program is designed as a strategic step to create more interactive, fun, and equitable learning services throughout Indonesia.

The President emphasized that the transformation of education is not only about the provision of devices, but also building a new learning ecosystem that is creative, inclusive, and fair for all children of the nation.

Through the integration of digital devices, quality learning content, as well as massive teacher training, this program is expected to be able to narrow the gap in access to education, especially for areas that have been facing infrastructure constraints.

This program includes the provision of key devices such as Digital Interactive Boards (IFPs), laptops, content storage media, as well as satellite internet access and solar panels for educational units that do not yet have an internet network or adequate access to electricity.

To date, the device delivery process has reached 215,572 units, with 172,550 devices arriving at schools and 43,022 others still on their way. The government targets all devices to arrive at recipient schools by December 2025.

The government has also prepared quality learning content through the Education House platform, complete with technical guidance to optimize IFP usage in classrooms.

The agenda for launching the program was marked by President Prabowo's pressing of the siren button accompanied by Mendikdasmen Abdul Mu'ti, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, as well as student representatives.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this morning, Monday 17 November 2025. I am Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, launching digitalization learning for a smart Indonesia," he said.

A number of Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet who attended included Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti, Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Head of the Government Communications Agency Angga Raka Prabowo, and Governor of West Java Dedy Mulyadi.
