Karawang Police Examine Witnesses Of Child Abuse With Disabilities

KARAWANG - Karawang Police revealed that the handling of cases of child abuse with disabilities in the Cilamaya Wetan District, Karawang Regency, West Java has entered the investigation stage.

"Currently, we are still conducting investigations and summoning five witnesses for questioning," said Head of Public Relations of the Karawang Police, Ipda Cep Wildan, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 13.

In addition, the police have also examined the victim's family and collected evidence related to the abuse case.

"We will continue to carry out investigations and investigations to uncover this case and arrest the perpetrators," he said.

The Karawang Police appealed to the public to report if they knew or had information related to this case of child abuse with disabilities.

This was conveyed to make it easier for the police to uncover the case.

This case of child abuse with disabilities has raised public concerns. Therefore, the police are committed to resolving this case fairly.

Sementara sebelumnya, korban bernama Rido yang merupakan anak disabled menjadi korban dugaan penganiayaan di wilayah Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan pada 5 November 2025.

Furthermore, the victims were evacuated by Cilamaya Police officers to the Karawang Regional General Hospital for intensive treatment.

The police are currently investigating the case after receiving a report from the victim's family to the Karawang Police Headquarters on November 11, 2025.

Furthermore, at the request of the family, the victim was transferred to the Bayu Asih Hospital in Purwakarta, because the victim was a resident of Purwakarta.

However, after being transferred to Purwakarta Hospital, on Thursday afternoon, the victim was declared dead after about a week of struggling in a coma. (KR-MAK)
