Rismon Sianipar Will Sue The Police If He Is Not Proven Guilty

JAKARTA - Forensic Digital Expert Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar stated that he would sue the police again if the allegations of fabricating the fake diploma case of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo were not proven.

"The problem is ready or not, investigators should be better prepared to accuse us of editing, or fabricating. Which one we engineered, if it is not proven later I plan to sue the police for Rp126 trillion rupiah, one year of the police budget," he said at Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, Thursday, November 13.

According to him, the police accusations are baseless and show the lack of understanding of the apparatus on digital image processing technology.

"What we are doing is digital science, image processing, don't let this science become a forbidden science, processing digital images or digital videos does not mean they are engineered or edited based on algorithms," he said.

Rismon believes that his determination as a suspect is a form of speed of handling guerrillaally by the police.

"I believe this speed of handling or suspicion coincides with our guerrillas in dismantling, especially Pak Roy's return from Sydney," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Roy Suryo's attorney, Ahmad Khozinudin, assessed that the steps taken by the Polda Metro Jaya investigators were too hasty and disproportionate. He conveyed this in response to the determination of Roy Suryo Cs as a suspect in the case of alleged fake diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

It is known that Roy Suryo and doctors Tifauziah and Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar attended their first examination as suspects at the Polda Metro Jaya today, Thursday, November 13.

"Today we started a call from Polda Metro Jaya which has unilaterally determined our client as a suspect with evidence, although many have no relevance to what is alleged," he told reporters, Thursday, November 13.

Khozinudin said hundreds of evidence and dozens of witnesses claimed by investigators were irrelevant to allegations of defamation.

"Although there are 700 pieces of evidence, there are 130 witnesses and 22 experts, all of them are according to the investigator's version. If there is no relevance then it is not worth it," he said.
