Police Experience Obstacles In Investigating Cases Of Sexual Violence Involving ASN In Gorontalo

JAKARTA - The Gorontalo Police admit that they experienced problems in investigating cases of sexual violence that were suspected of being the perpetrators of a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in Gorontalo.

The first obstacle is that in the process of examining witnesses, Gorontalo Police investigators must bring in clinical forensic psychologist witnesses, who are in Surabaya, East Java.

"Especially for TPKS, ASN personnel, we have carried out a post-mortem on the victim, and invited witnesses to be examined," said the Director of Criminal Investigation at the Gorontalo Police, Kombes Pol. Ade Permana in Gorontalo, Tuesday, confiscated by Antara.

Meanwhile, other obstacles, said Ade Permana, came from the willingness of other witnesses who did not wish to come even though investigators had officially sent invitations twice.

However, Gorontalo Police investigators conducted an examination of other witnesses related to the handling of this case on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Ade Permana ensured that the Gorontalo Police would immediately complete the case handling file, so that the alleged perpetrator could be named a suspect.

"The file of this case will soon be completed and we will inform the public if we determine the alleged perpetrator to be a suspect," he said.
