The Commission For The Acceleration Of Police Reform Will Add Members Of Women

JAKARTA - The National Police Reform Acceleration Commission held its first meeting at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta on Monday 10 November, afternoon. The meeting lasted for two hours with 10 members.

Chairman of the National Police Reform Acceleration Committee Jimly Asshiddiqie said he would increase the number of members of the Police Reform Acceleration Commission from among women. However, he did not want to mention the name of the new candidate member.

"We have ten meetings and God willing, maybe next week there will be one additional person, ladies and gentlemen. Well, I haven't named him yet," Jimly told the media at the National Police Headquarters, Monday, November 10.

According to him, the addition of members is to complement the expectations of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, who wants representation from women.

"This is to complete it according to the President's expectations so that there will be women's representation. So later the number of this team will be 11 people," he said.

As is known, the National Police Reform Acceleration Committee held a meeting with the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Monday, November 10, noon.

Chairman of the National Police Reform Acceleration Committee Jimly Asshiddiqie has not provided detailed information on the discussions that will be carried out from the meeting.
