Pramono Asks For Hospital Construction In Sumber Waras Land To Become PSN: To Get Treatment Easier

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung explained the reason he wanted to propose the construction of an international hospital next to the Sumber Waras land, West Jakarta was included in the national strategic project (PSN) to the central government.

This was revealed by Pramono after meeting with the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy.

Pramono put forward the PSN proposal to Airlangga. Pramono revealed that the DKI Provincial Government wants the construction of hospitals in Sumber Waras to be part of the national development agenda in order to get convenience starting from the planning process, funding, to the construction process.

"Why do we propose to become PSN? Because in order to get treatment in the construction process it becomes easier, better," said Pramono, Monday, November 10.

In addition, if you become PSN, opportunities for funding support for the construction of the international hospital from the central government will also become more open. Pramono revealed that the central government could play a role in building the type A hospital.

Moreover, Pramono continued, the DKI Provincial Government has received the green light from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to build health service facilities on the land that has been in case.

"This Waras source is now clearness from the KPK and from the BPK can be started but of course we really want if the Waras Source also gets PSN," said Pramono.

This land has an area of 3.6 hectares. Pramono plans to build a hospital with complete facilities. Pramono also hopes that the central government will provide support in the form of providing international standard medical devices and their doctors.

That way, if later operate, this new hospital can be the main reference for people who want to seek treatment because they have qualified medical facilities and are in a strategic location.

"Then if it is developed, specifically planned, for example for hospitals related to the heart, to cancer, and special diseases, then I am sure it will become a good hospital disease and become a reference for Indonesia," Pramono explained.

In addition to hospitals on the Sumber Waras land, Pramono also revealed plans to revitalize the Kota Tua area to become PSN. Pramono also asked Airlangga to participate in the role of BPI Danantara and the Ministry of Creative Economy in the arrangement of the area.

The former Cabinet Secretary admitted that Airlangga accommodated his proposal and would study the two projects before the central government provided support.

"But because this is the spirit for the common interest, I am sure that the central government will also provide support, support for that. We will immediately complete all the administration needed for that development," he added.
