Chairman Of PAN-President MCC Meets, Agrees To Control The Government So As Not To Go Off Track

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Central Executive Board PAN fraction, Saleh Partaonan Daulay, discussed the topic that will be discussed in the meeting of Chairman of PAN Zulkifli Hasan and MCC President Ahmad Syaikhu at PAN office.

"This is a regular meeting, a meeting between political parties. Where political party figures in the MCC visit PAN", Saleh told reporters at the PAN DPP Secretariat, Jalan Daksa I Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Friday, May 21.

According to him, today's meeting is very important, especially to evaluate things that happen to the Indonesian nation. Evaluation includes government performance achievements, especially economic recovery due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are experiencing a big challenge, namely pandemic, and economic recession. So this pandemic can not be taken lightly, so it can be discussed together including the economic recession", said Saleh who is also Chairman of the PAN Faction in the House of Representatives.

According to him, Indonesia's economic growth is still minus, and certainly a very tough challenge for the government and citizens.

"As representatives of political parties in the House of Representatives, there certainly needs to be joint talks in building synergy", he continued.

According to him PAN and MCC will escort the government program will run on the track.

"So that the programs run by the government can run well and not out of the corridors that people want", Saleh said.
