Israeli Serang Hezbollah Asks Residents Of 3 Lebanese Villages To Refuge

JAKARTA - The Israeli military warned residents of three villages in southern Lebanon to flee the area shown on the map. Israel will attack Lebanese Hezbollah infrastructure in the area.

"Building residents marked in Aita al-Jabal, Al-Tayyiba, and Tayr Debba villages are advised to evacuate," said Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee on X.

Previously, Lebanese Hezbollah said his group had the legitimate rights to fight the occupation (Israel). Hezbollah insists it will support the Lebanese army.

Although Lebanon is bound by a ceasefire, Hezbollah is not obliged to engage in political negotiations with Israel.

Meanwhile Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned the militant group Hezbollah was trying to establish a reciprocal of its weapons force. Netanyahu insists Israel's right to self-defense under last year's ceasefire agreement if Lebanon fails to bear off the group's weapons.

At a cabinet meeting, PM Netanyahu said Israel would "act as necessary" if Lebanon did not take steps to prevent its territory from becoming a new front.

Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, also said the Lebanese government must fulfill its commitment to deploying Hezbollah's weapons and expelling the group from southern Lebanon.

He said maximum law enforcement efforts would continue and be intensified to protect Israelis in the north.
