BADUNG - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) provides special emphasis regarding the cleanliness of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) menu to prevent poisoning in beneficiaries.

This was said by the Deputy for Systems and Governance of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Tigor Pangaribuan during socialization activities and policies for the management of the Free Nutrition Eating program in Badung Regency, Bali, Wednesday, November 5.

"We emphasize the quality of the food given. We explain this to inform about how we prevent food poisoning or extraordinary events," he said.

Tigor explained that the provision of healthy nutritious food starts from clean SPPG conditions, selection of quality materials, nutrition examination and strict food conditions, food supply times, distributions that do not take long to professional management.

" Purchasing the right ingredients, the washing is correct, the handling is properly handled cleanly, cooked with clean water, good materials processed, all of that must be obeyed," he said.

He also highlighted the right time to cook so that food is not stale.

He asked all SPPG managers to start cooking at 02.00 in the morning instead of cooking at night.

"Equipment must also be standard for participating in technical guidelines and delivered on time, not more than 4 hours," he said.

His party will impose strict sanctions on SPPGs that have proven negligent and violated the technical instructions set by BGN.

Tigor also stated that each SPPG can only serve beneficiaries at a maximum distance of 6 kilometers with a travel time of 30 minutes to prevent food from becoming stale.

"A maximum of 6 km or a distance of approximately 30 minutes. It's been through an old trial. So, that's about what deserves to be obeyed," he said.

Sanctions against violators in the form of warnings to termination of employment.

"We will definitely reprimand those who have violations and ask them to stop," said Tigor.

For this reason, BGN has collected more than 700 people consisting of the Head of SPPG, nutritionist and accountant in the Bali region.

The socialization event was deliberately carried out by the Deputy for Systems and Governance of the National Nutrition Agency to socialize new technical instructions (juknis) which is the third technical revision to all operational SPPGs.

"The target is that all the SPPGs here understand governance so that later in the implementation of the nutritious food will run well, the food provided is all healthy food, balanced nutrition and no one receiving any problems," he concluded.
