The National Police's SPPG Could Be A Reference For The Implementation Of MBG

JAKARTA Observer from the Center of Intelligence and Strategic Studies (CISS), Ngasiman Djoyonegoro, assessed that governance carried out by the National Police's Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) could be a standard reference in the implementation of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program.

According to him, the National Police's SPPG is considered successful in implementing high standards in public services, especially in the MBG Program following a positive assessment from a number of health experts who see the National Police's SPPG as part of efforts to support national food security.

The National Police's commitment to public services looks serious and tested. This is certainly inseparable from the experience of organizing a number of public services which makes them have sufficient readiness in organizing this SPPG," he explained in a written statement, Sunday, October 26.

The man who is familiarly called Simon revealed that the track record has formed an institutional character who is always ready and able to take into account risks in the field when organizing a new model service.

This can be seen from 672 SPPG units that already exist throughout Indonesia and are targeted for up to 1,000-1,500 units in the future.

Dia juga menyoroti profesionalisme dalam operasional SPPG Polri, di mana setiap dapur telah dilengkapi Standar Operasional dan Prosedur (SOP) yang ketat sesuai ketentuan Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) dan diwajibkan memiliki empat uji laboratorium untuk menjamin kualitas pangan.

“Setiap SPPG Polri dilengkapi dengan empat uji laboratorium, yaitu uji formalin, uji boraks, uji pewarna dan uji biologi. SOP dan uji laboratorium ini telah menjadi standar baku untuk memastikan setiap paket makanan yang didistribusikan telah terjamin kelayakan dan kesehatannya,” kata Simon.

“Itu alasannya SPPG Polri dapat dijadikan salah satu acuan terbaik untuk penyelenggaraan SPPG yang akan mendatang. Ini semua untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik negara kepada masyarakatnya,” sambungnya.

He also highlighted the professionalism in the operation of the National Police SPPG, where each kitchen has been equipped with strict Operational and Procedures Standards (SOP) in accordance with the provisions of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) and is required to have four laboratory tests to ensure food quality.

Every SPPG of the National Police is equipped with four laboratory tests, namely a formalin test, a borax test, dye test and a biological test. These SOPs and laboratory tests have become standard standards to ensure that every food package distributed has guaranteed its feasibility and health," Simon said.

"That's the reason why the National Police's SPPG can be used as one of the best references for the upcoming SPPG implementation. This is all to improve the quality of state public services to the community," he continued.
