JAKARTA - The series of Harina Trains related Semarang-Surabaya involved in an accident with a cargoless container truck at the Kaligawe Road crossing, Semarang City, was withdrawn to Semarang Tawang Station.

Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop IV Semarang Franoto Wibowo said the train series was damaged in the locomotive and train parts of the generator.

"The process of replacing locomotives and generator trains is carried out so that Harina's train journey returns to normal," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 21.

According to him, there were no casualties from the passengers or crew of the Harina train in the accident.

He explained that the incident that occurred at around 16.37 WIB began when a truck passed from south to north.

When the Harina train from the west will pass, he said, the position of the truck is still in the middle of the crossing

"Masinis has honked his horns many times, but this incident is inevitable," he said.

After the evacuation of the Harina train series, the traffic flow on Jalan Kaligawe returned to normal.

Meanwhile, officers are still trying to evacuate the truck involved in the accident.
