JAKARTA - US President Donald Trump called on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to end the war and urged the two to negotiate a peace agreement.
"The meeting with Zelenskyy was very attractive and friendly, but I told him, as I also strongly suggest to President Putin, that it was time to stop the murder and make a deal!" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
"It's enough blood to burn, with boundaries of territory defined by war and courage. They should stop at their current position. Let both claim victory, and let history judge! " he continued.
Trump claims the war "will never start if I become President."
"There were no more shots, no more deaths, and no more endless large amounts of money spent," he said as quoted by ANTARA from Anadolu, Saturday, October 18.
"Thousands of people are slaughtered every week is enough. Go to your family peacefully," said the US leader.
