6 Debt Collectors Intimidated Women Motorists On Jalan Daan Mogot Kalideres

JAKARTA - The police are investigating the intimidating actions of a number of debt collectors against a female driver around the New Bridge Bus Stop, Kalideres, West Jakarta.

"We are currently investigating. But now the victim has not made an LP (police report)," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kanit Reskrim) of the Cengkareng Police, West Jakarta, AKP Parman Gultom, Friday, October 17.

In a viral video circulating on social media, six "debt collectors" can be seen blocking a woman riding a motorbike on the road.

One of the men dressed all black and carrying a bag was seen approaching the motorist, followed by an intimidating act from one of the debt collectors.

Meanwhile, many comments in videos uploaded on social media @warga.jakbar to request that these individuals can be dealt with by the Police.

"This has often been like this. It's really complicated for the community along Jalan Daan Mogot Kalideres," wrote one comment.

The video, which was uploaded on social media (medsos) with the account name @warga.jakbar, received a lot of attention from netizens. Many criticized the actions of the debt collectors and asked the police to act decisively immediately.
