9 Suspects Arrested In Tangsel Arrested, Here Are Detailed Roles Of Perpetrators

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya revealed the roles of each suspect in confinement and persecution in South Tangerang, Banten, for four victims.

The nine suspects had the initials MAM (41), VS (33), HJE (25), S (35), APN (25), Z (34), I, and MA (39) all men and one woman with the initials NN (52).

"The suspect MAM (41), his role is as a field coordinator and who plans and acts as an executor and then tortures victims, extorts victims and also provides cars," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Brigadier General Ade Ary Syam Indradi as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 16.

Then, the second suspect was NN's sister (52) who played the role of field coordinator and then provoked the victim to join and then blackmail the victim.

"Furthermore, the third suspect is VS's brother (33) whose role is to torture the victim and then he also keeps the victim from running away," said Ade Ary.

Then the fourth and fifth suspects are HJE (25) and Z (34) acting to torture victims. Furthermore, the sixth and seventh suspects, suspect I and S (35), acted as executors.

"The eighth brother of APN (25) has the role of the one who recorded, recorded videos of torture and he is also in the process of taking the victim from the start, then the ninth suspect with the initials MA (39) plays a role in providing a house to be used as a place of confinement," said Ade Ary.

Polda Metro Jaya is still being investigated regarding the relationship between this group of perpetrators and the victims.

"The suspects have now been detained and charged under Article 333 of the Criminal Code regarding the act of unlawfully seizing other people's independence and Article 368 of the Criminal Code concerning extortion with a maximum threat of 9 years in prison," he said.
