KPK Intervenes To Study MBG Program And Will Issue Recommendations

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the implementation of the free nutritious food program (MBG) is being studied as a deputy for prevention and monitoring. This process is referred to as a form of support for President Prabowo Subianto's government program.

"Currently the KPK is conducting a study," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters quoted on Wednesday, October 15.

Budi did not specify when the study was carried out. He just said this process would lead to the issuance of recommendations.

"Given that in the context of the MBK program, there are several parties involved, so from the study the KPK will provide recommendations and the hope is to follow up," he said.

These various recommendations, continued Budi, are also expected to make the implementation of MBG far from fraudulent practices. "So that governance, mechanisms, processes become more effective and efficient," he stressed.

"And the results, when distributed, are also good quality for our children," added Budi.

He said this study was carried out with various methods ofology. Among them, said Budi, by taking samples or sampling to find facts in the field through observation.

Interviews can also be conducted by the anti-corruption commission against a number of parties to find out obstacles in the field. This is because the implementation of MBG involves a number of stakeholders or stakeholders.

"So that later we can produce a complete conclusion to then provide concrete recommendations in an effort to support the improvement of this MBG program," concluded Budi.
