JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung inaugurated a fire station in Kebayoran Lama Lama Village, South Jakarta. The construction of the post was directed at the land resulting from the rollover exchange or ruilslag of the DKI Provincial Government's assets with the private sector.

Pramono explained that this creative financing scheme was carried out by exchanging land belonging to the DKI Provincial Government covering an area of 301 square meters with a new area of 600 square meters which is now the location of the new fire station.

"This is a form of fire post financed by creative financing. This means that they carry out ruilslag from the land owned by the Jakarta regional government, which covers 301 (square meters) in exchange for an area of 600 in this place and at the same time build a post for firefighters in Kebayoran Lama Utara," said Pramono, Monday, October 13.

Pramono assessed that a scheme like this could be an example of how local governments can innovate in expanding public service infrastructure without burdening regional budgets.

"This is a form of creativity so that firefighters also appear in spaces in the community," he said.

According to Pramono, this new post in Kebayoran Lama Utara will be a pilot model for other areas in Jakarta.

"That's why I am willing to inaugurate, at the same time this is a role model for piloting in other places. Because it is impossible for everything to be handled at the sub-district or city level," he said.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service Bayu Meghantara confirmed that the construction of the new fire post did not use APBD funds.

He explained that all existing facilities, including buildings and furniture, were the result of the land rollout agreement with the private sector.

"This is the location of the land ruilslag of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, earlier the Governor mentioned 338 square meters. And replaced with 600 square meters of land. But not only land with land, but including facilities," said Bayu.

Bayu added that the 200 square meter fire post is equipped with supporting facilities such as air conditioning, tables, and other furniture. This post will be guarded by a team of six officers, with two units of standby vehicles, namely a medium pressure car with a capacity of 4,000 liters and a rescue car.

"This is very close to the community, this is in the RW5 Kelurahan Kebayoran Lama Utara. So how do we get closer to quick response, response time, and can socialize with the community," he added.
