Investigate Bribery In Forest Area Management, KPK Finds Out Inhutani's Supervision Through Ex-Director Of Perhutani

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the monitoring process carried out by Perum Perhutani against PT Inhutani, especially Inhutani V.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said this investigation was carried out by examining Wahyu Kuncoro as the former President Director (Managing Director) of Perhutani for the 2020-2025 period as a witness to alleged bribery in the management of the Inhutani V forest area. This request for information was made at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 7.

"The person concerned was asked for information regarding the supervision carried out by the Director of Perhutani to his subsidiary, namely PT Inhutani," Budi told reporters in a written statement, Friday, October 10.

Budi also said that during the examination, Wahyu, who now serves as Deputy for SOEs for the Creation of the Value of the Ministry of SOEs, was also questioned about the cooperation between Inhutani V and PT Paramita Mulia Langgeng (PML). This collaboration is known to have been colored by the practice of bribery until the anti-corruption commission was finally caught through a hand arrest operation (OTT) some time ago.

"Investigators are also investigating the perhutani permit for the cooperation between Inhutani and PT PML," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK appointed the Managing Director of PT Inhutani V, Dicky Yuana Rady; Director of PT Paramita Mulia Langgeng (PML), Djunaedi; and Aditya as the licensing staff of SB Group as suspects for alleged bribery permits for the use of forest areas. The determination was made after all three were entangled in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday, August 13.

In this silent operation, the KPK confiscated 189 thousand Singapore dollars in cash; IDR 8.5 million; Jeep Rubicon; and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

For his actions, Djunaidi and Aditya as the givers, are suspected of committing acts of corruption as regulated in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law, jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Dicky as the recipient is suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption as regulated in Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
