Mardiono Agrees To Make Peace With Kubu Agus Suparmanto

JAKARTA - Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) Muhammad Mardiono said there were good people who facilitated the reconciliation between his camp and Agus Suparmanto's camp.

"I told the Minister of Law that two days ago I had a meeting facilitated by good people, namely for a meeting between Taj Yasin, Agus and me," said Mardiono at the Ministry of Law's office, Jakarta, Monday, October 6.

Mardiono is currently appointed as the General Chair of PPP, while Agus Suparmanto is the Deputy Chairperson of PPP.

He said that the meeting was agreed upon by reconciliation so that there would be no differences of opinion and opinion which would then become sharp and sustainable.

"As soon as possible, because it has been integrated between Agus and me, and later we will also unite it under him, namely by forming a management that we will immediately perfect," he said.

After that, said Mardiono, a national reconciliation will be carried out through a national work deliberation forum (mukernas) which will produce various decisions.

Previously, the Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas stated that he had issued a new decree regarding the management of the United Development Party (PPP) which unites Muhammad Mardiono and Agus Suparmanto's camps.

"Today (Monday, 6/10) I issued a new Decree of the Minister of Law, in which Muhammad Mardiono remained the General Chair of PPP, then Agus became Deputy General Chair, Taj Yasin became Secretary General, and Fauzan became General Treasurer," said Supratman.

Supratman said that a total of six people were registered as administrators in the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights regarding the management of PPP.

"Hopefully with the issuance of this new decree, there will be coolness back to the PPP extended family," he said.

Previously, PPP held the 10th Congress in the Ancol area, Jakarta. Then Mardiono in Jakarta on September 27, 2025 stated that he was elected by acclamation as General Chair of PPP for the period 2025-2030.

After that, the PPP Congress continued and decided Agus Suparmanto as the General Chair of PPP for the 2025'30 period.
