The Public Transportation Tariff In Jakarta Is IDR 80 On The 80th Anniversary Of The TNI

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung announced that he would impose a special tariff for public transportation in Jakarta during the 80th Anniversary of the Indonesian National Army (TNI).

On Sunday, October 5, people can use public transportation services managed by the DKI Provincial Government and the Jabodebek LRT at only IDR 80.

"On October 5, all transportation managed by the DKI Jakarta Government, namely TransJakarta, MRT, LRT, and also the Jabodebek and Microtrans LRT, all of which pay 80 rupiah," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, October 1.

Pramono said that the special tariff for public transportation modes at the peak of the TNI Anniversary celebrations was a form of appreciation to soldiers who had been protecting the nation.

"We, the Jakarta government, give our appreciation to the TNI which has been guarding this nation, on that day, all transportation managed by the Jakarta Government, Jabodetabek LRT, all of which are subject to 80 rupiah tariffs," said Pramono.

To note, the series of TNI Anniversary celebrations has been rolling since August 2025 with sports competition activities held simultaneously throughout Indonesia.

Then, as many as 100,000 personnel will be involved in the celebration of the TNI's 80th Anniversary at Monas, Central Jakarta, on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

"It is planned to involve TNI personnel and the community who are members of the Reserve and Support Components with around 100 thousand, which are still dynamically adjusting to the needs and deployments of troops," said Freddy, Tuesday, September 16.

The personnel participated in combat simulations, defiles of the main weapon system (alutsista) and security for the Monas area.

Freddy explained that the TNI personnel came from three dimensions, namely the Indonesian Navy, Air Force and Army. Later, every elite troop in each dimension will present a combat simulation at Silang Monas, Central Jakarta.

Not only that, the personnel will also show the ability of each defense equipment from each dimension, from artillery, artillery to warplanes.
