Deputy Chairperson of the NasDem Party Saan Mustopa dismissed the news that Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR, Rusdi Masse Mappasessu left the party and joined the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). Saan emphasized that Rusdi Masse was still a cadre of the NasDem Party.

"Until today, it's still in NasDem," said Saan at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 30.

Saan ensured that until the day there was no resignation letter from the person concerned. In fact, said Saan, Rusdi is still the leader of Commission III of the DPR.

"Nothing yet. Until today there has been no (resignal letter)," said Saan.

"There is no (district for the resignation of the DPR, ed) is still the Deputy Chairman of Commission III," added the Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI.

Previously, it was rumored that Rusdi Masse would leave NasDem and join PSI. Rusdi is even said to be ready to resign as a member of the DPR.

The news also strengthened after Rusdi Masse was invited to the inauguration ceremony for the PSI DPP board for the 2025-2030 period, which was also attended by Ahmad Ali and Bestari Barus.

But in the end, there was no name Rusdi Masse in the inauguration of the new PSI management by Kaesang on Friday, September 26.

In fact, Rusdi was trusted by NasDem as Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR to replace Ahmad Sahroni in the aftermath of the demonstration at the end of last August.
