This Is The Effort To Narrow The Movement Space Of TIP Perpetrators

JAKARTA - The space for the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) and the Crime of Human Smuggling (TPPM) continues to be narrowed by the Class I Immigration Office of North Jakarta TPI through the activities of the Village/Kelurahan Binaan Immigration in North Jakarta.

"Through this Village/Migration Development Village, we want to cooperate with the public broadly to find out the rules related to Immigration and efforts to prevent TIP and TPPM actions," said Head of Intelligence, Kanim, North Jakarta, Widya Anusa Brata when confirmed, Sunday, September 28.

Widya said, the activities of the Village/Kelurahan Binaan Immigration initially existed in 2023.

Currently, the focus you want to aim for is to prevent violations and supervision of foreigners.

For the initial stage, Kanim Jakut formed a Village/Kelurahan Binaan Immigration in the Pademangan District, North Jakarta.

Other areas will follow later, namely in Kelapa Gading, Penjaringan, and Cilincing.

Later in every sub-district/extrict will be appointed by the Immigration Officer for Village/Kelurahan Trustees. It is hoped that the supervision of foreigners in the community will be more effective.

"The public can provide direct information regarding the whereabouts of foreigners suspected of violating immigration regulations," he said.

Kegiatan Desa/Kelurahan Binaan Imigrasi juga ini menindaklanjuti Program Astacita Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto dan Program Akselerasi Menteri Imigrasi dan Permasyarakatan untuk mencegah terjadinya aksi TPPO dan TPPM.

The Village/Migration Development Village Activities are also following up on the Astacita Program of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and the Acceleration Program of the Minister of Immigration and Corrections to prevent TIP and TPPM actions.

"Although North Jakarta has not found the action, we are still working to socialize and prevent it," he said.
