JAKARTA - Riau Police Chief, Inspector General Herry Heryyawan said the National Police would always accompany farmers under any conditions. This is because farmers are one of the keys to creating Indonesia's food security.
The statement was made holding a meeting with the farmers of the Green Harmoni Tubes (THH) of the Riau Police, on Wednesday, September 24. The meeting is known to carry the theme Resilient Farmers, Guarded Food, Riau Sejahtera.
"The National Police will keep the village atmosphere safe. Farmers must feel calm at work, because from the hands of the farmers the nation's food security was born," said Herry Heryyawan, Wednesday, September 24.
During the meeting, farmers were also free to express their aspirations, ranging from the issue of fertilizer prices, market access, to hopes that the younger generation would be interested in pursuing the agricultural world again.
In addition to dialogue, activities are also filled with the delivery of symbolic, friendly, and tree planting assistance as a form of commitment to maintain a balance between food and the environment.
On that occasion, the man who often manages this also invites all parties to continue to care for nature as a valuable legacy, while at the same time supporting the welfare of farmers.
Then x the farmers were invited to tour various Green Harmoni Tubes facilities. They saw firsthand how the nursery area of thousands of trees was managed.
Watching the corn farming experiment land which is also a training location for members of the National Police and the community, to listening to the program to foster independence for members of the National Police who will enter retirement through raising and farming activities.
