Big Demonstration In Berlin, Masses Demand Stop Genocide Gaza And War Ukraine

BERLIN - A major demonstration against Germany's involvement in the conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East was held in Berlin on Saturday, September 13. The mob demanded that the government prioritize diplomacy, the correspondent RIA Novosti reported.

The action was organized by the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance Reason and Justice (BSW) party and centered around the Brandenburg Gate.

During the demonstration, thousands of participants expressed criticism of Germany's foreign policy. They carried Palestinian flags, a joint Russian flag, and banners calling for an end to violence against civilians in Gaza.

Sahra Wagenknecht as one of the founders of the party, along with a number of German cultural figures, was also present in the midst of the crowd.

This demonstration carries the slogan: "Stop genocide in Gaza! No weapons in the war zone! Peace, not an arms race!"

From the main stage, several speakers delivered speeches, including Israeli historian Moshe Zucker who spoke directly from Tel Aviv criticizing military operations in Gaza.

Pink Floyd's musician and founder, Roger Waters, also voiced his support via video connection.

Organizers affirmed their demands that the German government "participate honestly and seriously in peace negotiations" and stop sending weapons to conflict areas.

In addition, they also rejected the discourse of re-activation of military service and plans to deploy US medium-range missiles in Germany.
