Prabowo Calls Emir Qatar Asks For Conditions After The Israeli Attack

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said President Prabowo Subianto, Wednesday, spoke with Emir Qatari Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani by telephone asking about the current condition after the Israeli attack on Doha, Qatar.

Reported by ANTARA, Teddy said Israel's attack on Doha was a gross violation of international law, including the UN Charter, a violation of Qatar's sovereignty, as well as a major threat to regional security and peace.

"This attack also risks discriminating and expanding conflicts in the region," said Teddy, Wednesday, September 10.

Seskab Teddy said Indonesia reaffirmed solidarity with the Qatari government and people and emphasized its commitment to support all diplomatic efforts in order to achieve a fair, comprehensive, and sustainable peace settlement in the Middle East under the Two-Negara Solution.

Israel launched an attack on the Qatari capital, Doha, Tuesday (9/9), on the grounds of carrying out operations to get rid of the leadership of the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, in Qatar.

Israel has declared its full responsibility for the action and declared the action entirely an independent Israeli operation.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry in its official statement strongly condemned Israel's attack on residential buildings in Doha.

According to Qatari authorities, the attack was a coward act that threatened civilians and foreigners in Qatar.
