Polda Suspends Detention Of Misri Suspect Of Death Brigadier Nurhadi

MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police have been revealed to have suspended the detention of Misri, one of the suspects in the case of the death of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi.

The Director of General Criminal Investigation at the NTB Police, Kombes Syarif Hidayat, has not yet given a statement regarding the suspension of detention at this stage of investigation.

On Monday (8/9), Kombes Syarif confirmed that he was undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Likewise, the Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Mohammad Kholid, who was confirmed by telephone had not yet responded.

Information regarding the suspension of Misri's detention in this case was revealed from the testimony of his attorney, Yan Mangandar.

Through a telephone connection, Yan confirmed that Misri is now not undergoing detention at the NTB Police Detention Center.

"He left for a suspension of detention. We have submitted the suspension one day after detention," Yan said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 9.

Yan explained that Misri had been released from detention since August 28, 2025, on the basis that investigators granted the application for a suspension of detention.

"We have submitted a request for a suspension of detention the day after Misri was detained. The 28th (August) was granted," he said.

Yan said Misri is now in Banjarmasin. In the ongoing legal process, he chose to return home.

"There is no obligation to report," he said.

Yan said the suspension of Misri's detention on August 28, 2025, took place before the extension period of detention expired.

Misri's existence outside detention was revealed for the first time from two photos of uploading a story on his Instagram account called misripuspita11_. Misri uploaded a photo of himself today by showing a face.

Even though she is no longer in detention, Misri is still a suspect subject to Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code, and/or Article 359 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 221 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

Misri was named a suspect along with two members of the police, namely Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama and Ipda Haris Chandra.

In this case, the police are still waiting for the results of the investigation by the prosecutor after previously fulfilling the instructions, one of which is related to the reconstruction that includes the prosecutor's office.
