Following Up On Claims 17+8, UN Chairman Orders Cadres To Accept The People

Chairman of the Crescent Star Party (PPB) Gugum Ridho Putra ordered 174 of his cadres who sat in DPRD seats throughout Indonesia to accept and accommodate the aspirations of the people.

The order is a follow-up to the demands of the People 17+8 which discussed specifically related to political parties.

"The Crescent Star Party appeals and requires all cadres and members of the Crescent Star Party, especially 174 private public officials who sit in DPRD seats throughout Indonesia to accept and accommodate the aspirations of the people in their respective environments through dialogue forum meetings," Gugum told reporters, Wednesday, September 3.

In addition, all cadres, sympathizers, and the big family of the Crescent Star Party throughout Indonesia, as well as the general public, to always maintain calm, vigilance, social solidarity, protect each other.

The United Nations rejects all forms of provocation, hate speech, and invitations that lead to destructive and anarchist actions.

The United Nations also supports the government to carry out transparent, objective, and accountable legal processes against parties involved in the loss of life, while ensuring that security forces do not take a repressive stance, upholding the principles of professionalism, humanism, and respecting human rights as guaranteed in the constitution.

Gugum emphasized that the party supports the government to take effective and measurable steps to restore the national situation so that it can be conducive again by involving all elements of society.

"In this case, an open dialogue and peaceful expression of opinion must always be prioritized to prevent further casualties from civil society and state officials," he explained.

The government and all public officials should also be real committed to removing social resources that can trigger jealousy and dissatisfaction with the community, such as insensitive behavior in exhibiting luxury or state facilities in the midst of people's suffering.

"The Crescent Star Party believes that the emotional closeness between the people and its leaders is the foundation of social trust that cannot be built with imagery, but through a humble attitude, simplicity, and moral exemplary," said Ketum Gugum.

The United Nations encourages the government to ensure that access to justice can be felt by all, without having to wait for public attention or go viral first. No Viral Principle, No Justice should not be a reality in this country because justice is the right of all the nation's children.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Yuri Kemal Fadlullah, said that as a party based on Islamic and national values, the Crescent Star Party believes that peaceful, dialogue and deliberation are the best ways to solve every nation's problems.

"The Crescent Star Party is ready to be a bridge in the aspirations of the people to channel criticism and suggestions constructively, and continue to fight for democratic, just, and in favor of the interests of the people and the nation," said Yuri.
