JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya stated that it is ready to provide security for residents through large-scale joint patrols for 24 hours in the field.

"Polda Metro Jaya together with 13 Polres ranks continue to strive to provide protection and a sense of security to the community through large-scale joint patrols," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Ade Ary in Jakarta, Tuesday, September 2.

He also assured the public not to worry because the police were present 24 hours in the field to provide protection and services.

According to him, the large-scale joint patrol has been routinely held in the last few days. This patrol is a form of Polda Metro Jaya's commitment so that the police are always present in the midst of society.

The patrol, he continued, was carried out with a humanist approach through dialogue communication and direct appeal to the public.

"If people need help, they can contact 110 emergency services, free and active 24 hours. It will be handled directly by the nearest Polres," said Ade.

In their efforts to provide security for residents, Polda Metro Jaya cooperates with religious leaders, youth leaders, the Police and Community Partnership Forum (FKPM), and Pokdar Kamtibmas.

The cooperation that has been established is also expected to continue in order to keep Jakarta and its surroundings safe.

Earlier on Monday (1/9), a large-scale joint patrol was carried out in the afternoon and evening by deploying 200 personnel who focused on the South Jakarta and Central Jakarta areas.

North Jakarta Metro Police are still carrying out patrols, led directly by the Police Chief. In East Jakarta and several other police stations, patrols are carried out in stages, adjusting the development of the situation in the field," explained Ade.
