In The Same Fate With Ahmad Sahroni, Eko Patrio And Uya Kuya Deactivated From The Indonesian House Of Representatives

After the NasDem Party deactivated Ahmad Sahroni and Nafa Urbach from faction membership in the DPR, now news emerged that the PAN DPP would also disable Eko Hendro Purnomo (Eko Patrio) and Surya Utama (Uya Kuya).

VOI sources at the PAN DPP acknowledged that there was such a plan after Eko and Uya became the target of anger following their dance at the moment of the MPR Plenary Session which was deemed not to show empathy for the conditions faced by the community.

"Just wait for an official statement from the DPP. Hopefully the decision taken can be a solution to reduce the situation and condition of the community to be more conducive," he said, Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Eko Patrio had apologized to the public for his actions that caused unrest.

The apology was conveyed through a video uploaded to his personal Instagram account on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

"With humility, I, Eko Patrio, would like to express my deepest apologies to the public for the unrest that arises as a result of my actions," said Eko.

Similar to Uya Kuya, who apologized to the public regarding the video of herself dancing at the MPR Plenary Session.

In a video uploaded on his social media account, Saturday, August 30, 2025, he expresses deep regret.

"I, Uya Kuya, apologize profusely, sincerely from my bottom heart for all Indonesian people for what has happened in the last few days," said Uya.

PAN Deputy Viva Yoga Mauladi finally officially announced the deactivation of Eko Patrio and Uya Kuya as members of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

"Observing the current dynamics and developments, the PAN DPP decided to deactivate my brother Eko Hendro Purnomo (Eko Patrio) and my brother Surya Utama (Uya Kuya) as members of the DPR RI from the PAN faction of the DPR RI, starting from Monday, September 1, 2025," said Viva Yoga, Sunday, August 31.

He hopes that this decision will be able to calm the public as well as maintain public trust in President Prabowo Subianto.

PAN appealed to the public to be calm, patient and fully entrust the government led by President Prabowo Subianto to resolve this issue appropriately, quickly, and always side with the people and for the progress of the Indonesian nation in the future, "said Viva Yoga.
