JAKARTA - The trial of four United States Army (AD) soldiers suspected of being the perpetrators of sexual harassment against a student of the US Military Academy (Akmil) will be held at the end of August 2025.

A spokesman for the US Army Special Court Advisory Office, Michelle McCaskill, said the case was reported in April 2025 based on the incident at the Lewis-McChord Joint Base, Southwest of Tacoma, Washington DC on 27 October.

Michelle did not explain the full identity of the four soldiers suspected of sexual harassment. He only explained that the victim has now been assigned to become an officer of the US Army.

"Sexual attacks occurred at the same time and place as all the soldiers charged were present," McCaskill said, quoted by NBC News, Wednesday, August 27.

In the criminal case that ensnared US soldiers, the US Army generally provided legal assistance.

However, representatives from the US Army Legal Advisory Assistance Program did not respond to the confirmation sent.

Even the attorneys of the four suspected perpetrators listed in the court case file named Ruiz could not be reached for comment on Tuesday night local time.

McCaskill said US military members were sexually abused and sentenced to 30 years in prison. Each defendant faces a potential sentence of tens of years in prison if he is successfully prosecuted.
