Prosecutor's Office Names One New Suspect In Lampung Toll Corruption, Confiscates IDR 6.3 Billion In Money

BANDARLAMPUNG - Tiim Penyidik Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Lampung kembali menetapkan satu tersangka kasus korupsi proyek Tol Terbanggi Besar Pematang Panggang Kayu Agung (STA 100+200 s/d STA 112+200) Provinsi Lampung Tahun Anggaran 2017-2019.

"We have named dr. IBN as the Head of Division V of PT. Waskita Karya) as a suspect in the Lampung Toll Road corruption case. So that a total of three suspects have been involved in this case," said Assistant for Special Crimes (Adpidsus) of the Lampung Attorney General's Office, Armen Wijaya, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 11.

From a series of investigations carried out by the investigative team against the suspect dr. IBN, the Attorney General's Office conducted searches in four locations, namely Riau, DKI Jakarta, Bekasi and Semarang.

"From the results of the search, the investigation team has secured money amounting to Rp4,099,256,764 with details of the money that has been confiscated amounting to Rp2,191,5114,113 and Rp1,907,742,651 has been blocked," he said.

In addition, continued Armen, the Lampung Prosecutor's Office also confiscated 47 land and building certificates, five four-wheeled vehicles, and three branded bicycles with an estimated value of IDR 50,000,000,000,000.

"So within March 13, 2025, until today, the Lampung Attorney General's Office has confiscated money from the three suspects in the case amounting to Rp6,357,000,000," he said.

In this case, the contract value for the construction of the Terbanggi Besar Pematang Panggang Kayu Agung Toll Road (STA 100+200 s/d STA 112+200) Lampung Province for the 2017-2019 Fiscal Year reached Rp1,253,922,600,000.

"In the implementation of the toll road construction, there are irregularities in the work budget carried out by the Project Team Personnel in Division 5 of PT Waskita Karya by making fictitious financial accountability," he said.

The suspects made the making of fictitious financial accountability by engineering bills that seemed to come from activities carried out at the construction of the Terbanggi Besar Toll Road - Pematang Panggang Kayu Agung (STA 100+200 s/d STA 112+200) Lampung Province for the 2017-2019 Fiscal Year.

"However, in reality, this work is a job that never existed and using the name of a fictitious vendor and there are also those who use vendors whose names are only borrowed. So that the actions of the perpetrators resulted in state financial losses of approximately Rp. 66,000,000,000," he said.

Previously, the Lampung Attorney General's Office named two other suspects in the corruption case of the construction of the Terbanggi Besar Toll Road - Pematang Panggang Kayu Agung (STA 100+200 s/d STA 112+200) Lampung Province for the 2017-2019 Fiscal Year, namely WDD as the Head of Division V, one of the SOEs and TWT as the Head of Accounting and Finance Section of Division V, one of the SOEs. Of the two suspects, the Lampung Attorney General's Office managed to confiscate Rp2 billion.
