JAKARTA - President of the United States (US) Donald Trump expelled homeless or homeless people from the US capital, Washington DC.
He promised a place to live for the homeless in DC. However, the location will not be in the middle of the city.
"The homeless must move, IMMEDIATELY," Trump wrote on his social media website, Truth Social, quoted from the BBC, Monday 11 August.
The order was reiterated after Trump signed instructions for federal law enforcement officials to arrest homeless people on Washington DC roads last month.
"We will give you a place to live, but stay away from the capital city. The criminals, you don't need to move. We will imprison you where you should be," Trump continued.
In his upload on Truth Social, Trump also includes a number of photos of homeless tents with garbage scattered around him.
"There will be no 'good unity.' We want the capital back. Thank you for your attention to this issue!" Trump stressed.
