JAKARTA - British air traffic control (NATS) reported technical problems disrupting flights at major London airports and elsewhere in the country on Wednesday. NATS confirmed the matter had been resolved.
"Our technology has now restored the affected system this afternoon. We are in the process of continuing normal operations in the London area," NATS said in a post on X.
Heathrow Airport said all departures were delayed. Meanwhile, Gatwick Airport said the issue had affected all flights out across the UK.
"There is currently no departure from London Gatwick as long as this situation is being resolved," said a statement issued by London City Airport.
