Prisoners who are given remissions are in accordance with recommendations from 12 prison heads, three heads of detention centers, and five heads of prison branches spread across 17 districts and cities in the working area of the South Sumatra Ministry of Law and Human Rights Regional Office.

"Heads of prisons, detention centers, and detention centers who know the best about the conditions of the prisoners who will be given remissions, no one is rejected for each prisoner who is proposed and meets the requirements," he said.

The prisoners are given a reduced sentence of 15-60 days or a maximum of two months.
