The National Police Commission (Kompolnas) has finished inspecting the boarding house where the Deputy Expert Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu) Ary Daru Pangayunan died. As a result, there were findings regarding the key position of the room slot.

Commissioner of National Police Choirul Anam said the key position of the slot was very crucial. After the examination, it was discovered that the slot was locked.

"I asked that this is a position that locks slots that are only open and closed from within, the position is locked," Anam said to reporters, Tuesday, July 22.

The locked slot condition was based on information from the boarding house guard and was supported by a video recording of the first moment Ary Daru Pangayunan's room was forcibly opened.

"So we confirmed directly to the guard because there was also a video we also checked the video we confirmed with him. When he opened his position he was locked," he said.

The slot key is generally installed on the door in the interior of the room. These keys can only be opened from the inside.

In addition, Anam also had time to ask the boarding house guards to demonstrate the key position. In addition to slots, there are also door keys that can be opened from outside and inside.

"So there are two keys that are installed on the door, not from the outside or from the inside, and the key. Which is in the form of a slot. That one can only be opened or locked from the inside," he said.

In addition, Kompolnas also examined several parts of the boarding house. So far, it is considered that there is nothing odd, such as a ceiling that is not moved from its position or damaged.

"The next one we also checked the condition of the room, we checked the condition of the room, we saw everything, looked at the shape, we checked the ceiling, we checked the water channel, we also checked the mattress," said Anam.

Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in the 'Gues House Gondia' in the 105th room, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

When found, the body of Arya Daru Pangayunan was in a condition of his face wrapped in yellow duct tape. Currently, the cause of death is not yet known.
